🌱 A Fresh Chapter: Connection, Leadership, & Growth

New Newsletter, New Focus

Hi Reader,

Whether you're a long time subscriber, or have recently joined via one of my events or workshops: thanks for being here. This is my first newsletter since January of this year. During this hiatus, I've gotten clearer on my focus, passions, and what feels most important to me. For the sake of keeping this update short, I'll share those details in a later message. For now, please read on for some upcoming events, writings, and more.

Upcoming Events

Are you worried about post-election discussions that will happen around the holiday dinner table this year?

Next Sunday, November 24th, I'm holding a workshop designed to help prepare you for these (or any) difficult conversations that may be on the horizon. We'll also have some time for you to practice these scenarios live (if you want), to get practice and make mistakes in a lower stakes, facilitated environment .

New Blog: Thoughts on Leadership

I've been thinking a lot about leadership since the beginning of the year. I've been asking questions like: "what defines leadership?", "what makes a good leader?", and wondering how we can practice and build our own leadership skills. Over this time I feel like I can now answer these questions, as well as where I see gaps or failures in "traditional" leadership.

📝 In my most recent blog post, you can hear my thoughts on leadership in our modern times, and a leadership framework that I feel meets the needs of our era.

Recent Activities

Speaking of leadership, I recently achieved a personal milestone - my first public speaking engagement at the Second Brain Summit, a conference where innovators explore creative knowledge management in our information-rich world. It was exciting to speak on the topic of “Leadership in the Age of AI” with an audience seeking to transform information overload into creative inspiration. If you’d like to watch the presentation, just reply and I’ll share the recording.

That's all for now. Thanks so much for reading! At any time, you can see my latest writing on my blog, join one of my groups, or learn how you can work with me directly.

This journey is my attempt at making our relationships stronger and our world a little more connected; I’m grateful you’re part of it.

Let's keep in touch! Don’t hesitate to reply to any emails or the social links below with your questions or thoughts—I’d love to hear from you.

Thanks again for being here, and I look forward to staying connected.
