Grateful for Our Growth: Let’s Celebrate with a Community Raffle!

Hi Reader,

I need to start with how honored I am to have so many new people sign up for the newsletter this month. It is inspiring to see how many people are interested in making the world a better place through connection, leadership, and solidarity. Welcome to you all, and thank you so much for being here. First: Our Upcoming Events

We've got two new events coming up! The first is this Thursday May 8th, and the second is in early June.

Thursday May 8th, we have an exciting event called "Conscious Collaboration" where we're teaching skills anyone can use to create spaces where collaboration and teamwork thrive:

Next, I'm hosting a different kind of event on June 4th where we're taking a look at the concept of psychological safety. This is something that can be relevant almost anywhere, but is especially relevant in many workplaces. The problem: we're often told at our jobs that it is safe to speak our minds and to take risks, yet the reality is it still feels, or is, unsafe for many to do so.

I'm really excited for this one!

Carrie brings over 20 years of experience growing and managing businesses. Her specialties are communication, leadership, and sustainable business systems, with a flair for well being.

Behind the Scenes - Episode 2

I've been creating some short behind the scenes videos on what it's been like to try to build a community, organization, and (hopefully) a sustainable business helping people better connect, lead, and work together in the world.

One Thing You Can Try in Your Life

Try a Tiny Experiment! This has been one of my favorite books of 2025, which talks about how you can live your life like a scientist. In experiments, there is no failure, only data to determine next steps. I'll have more on this in the future, but at a high level you can try this:

  • Make an observation or theory about something in your life
  • Craft a short experiment (2 weeks max) theory
  • Log what happens during the experiment
  • At the end, decide if you want to continue, modify, or stop the experiment

I've been doing lots of experiments since the beginning of the year with excellent results.
